New Students

Welcome to the University of Arizona!

International Student Services, also known as ISS, is your headquarters for a range of resources on and off campus. ISS is committed to your academic and personal success during your time as a student at the University of Arizona (UA). We provide immigration and academic support, events to connect with other students, and leadership opportunities.

Whether you are an admitted undergraduate, graduate, or exchange student, follow the information on the left side of the page to learn about important procedures for new students. We also have pre-arrival tutorials and information for applying to the UA.

If you have any questions about academics, immigration, or cultural connections, our door is always open!

  • Immigration Information
  • Academic Resources and Course Registration Details
  • Social Events and Cultural Connections
