Chinese Health Day in Tucson

To promote healthy lifestyles and overall wellbeing and to increase cross-cultural awareness on the University of Arizona campus and in surrounding communities, the Confucius Institute at the University of Arizona will once again convene its annual “Chinese Health Day” on April 7, 2018 from 9:30am-1:30pm.  The event is co-sponsored by the University of Arizona Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health.

This unique event includes information sharing on health services, health assessments and screening, culture and health exhibitions including Traditional Chinese Medicine and martial arts, Chinese massage: tuina, martial arts clinics, Chinese calligraphy demonstration, music, dance, Chinese martial arts performances, a Qipao fashion show, games, prizes, and much more. Collaborators include community and UA organizations and departments, guest artists, local performing groups, musicians, and martial arts masters from China and the United States.

--Chinese tea and medicinal tea sampling

--Performances of Chinese martial arts, music and dance
