The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship supports students who have been historically underrepresented in education abroad, including first-generation college students, veteran students, ethnic or racial minority students, students with disabilities, students attending minority-serving institutions and students coming from states with less study abroad participation. Scholarship amounts range from $100-$5,000 depending on need and expense of Study Abroad program chosen.
Additionally, the Gilman Application Award from UArizona Study Abroad offers $500 for eligible students who complete the Gilman Scholarship Application!
