Tax Filing Information Session

ISS will provide informational sessions explaining the tax filing process using GLACIER Tax Prep. These sessions are intended for nonresidents for tax purposes. You can find more information about residency for tax purposes at Taxes: The U.S. Tax System. Topics covered will include requirements to file as international students, an overview of the U.S. tax system, tax filing using GTP, deadlines, forms, and resources for tax assistance.

Attestation
I understand that the informational sessions will not provide help with the completion of the forms as University of Arizona employees, while in their official role at the UA, are not allowed to act as tax consultants or provide tax advice.

UA Passport Fair

UA Passports is hosting a special Saturday passport acceptance event to prepare the Tucson community for the upcoming summer travel season. To eliminate the need to take time off from work and school, the general public is invited to visit UA Passports on Saturday, February 23, 2019 from 9am to 4pm. Be sure to take advantage of the newly expanded photo services at UA Passports, which include passport and visa photos for any country in both print and electronic formats.

Gilman Scholarship Workshop

The U.S. Department of State’s Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship is a grant program that enables students of limited financial means who are Pell Grant eligible to study or intern abroad. Recipients can be awarded up $5,000 to apply towards their study abroad program costs. Join us to learn about the Gilman, get help with the application process & meet past scholarship recipients.

Two sessions for you to choose from:
