Tailored to undergraduate women engineers, this intensive, week-long training seminar provides resourceful workshops, visits, talks and activities related to the role of women in science, technology, academy, research and the community.
Topics include: leadership skills development, teamwork, communication skills and women's professional development.
The seminar is offered in a friendly environment under the guidance of a comprehensive team of specialists with vast international knowledge and diverse global backgrounds.
Presentation: Fulbright-Hays Group Projects Abroad Program
Dr. Lisa Adeli, Director of Educational Outreach at the University of Arizona Center for Middle Eastern Studies, has received five Fulbright-Hays Group Projects Abroad awards between 2009 and the present. She will present on the projects she's done through this Fulbright-Hays program. Information about the Fulbright-Hays Group Projects Abroad program, and how to apply, will also be presented.
Kaitlin Taylor, a Fulbright representative from the Institute of International Education, will present on the U.S. Fulbright Scholar Program and the various awards available for faculty, professionals, and administrators, including application tips. U.S. Fulbright Scholar alumni will also be present to talk about their experiences. Continental breakfast to be served.
