Study Abroad 101

Just getting started? The Online Study Abroad 101 must be completed by all UA students as a first step towards studying abroad. Upon completion of the online 101, you will be prompted to enter your name which will be used to monitor your completion of this step.  

Topics that will be covered include:

  • Where and when can I go abroad
  • What are the different program types
  • What are the different aspects of each program (housing, immersion level, language, etc.)

Study Abroad 201

Already know which program you are interested in? Started your application but have a few questions?

Topics covered in the Study Abroad 201 include:

  • Application assistance
  • Financial Aid questions
  • Cost concerns and budgeting

Financial Aid Session

This session is incorporated into the Study Abroad 201, but focuses solely on Financial Aid. It is required of all students using Financial Aid abroad to attend a Financial Aid session or Study Abroad 201.

Topics covered in the Financial Aid Session include:

  • Planning and budgeting for your study abroad program
  • Understanding what Financial Aid can and cannot be used abroad
