University College London is conveniently located in the heart of London. Home to top theatres and cinemas, music venues of every description, national museums and art galleries, every possible kind of pubs, bars, restaurants, as well as world famous shopping, London has something for everyone!
The UCL International Summer School offers 2 sessions: Session (30 June- 20 July 2019) & Session 2 (21 July-10 August). Students can choose to attend one or both sessions.
All modules are at level 1, which is the equivalent to first year undergraduate. Most do not require any prior subject knowledge, although some do prefer a background in certain areas. Please refer to the module pages for further details. The aim of each module is to provide students with an introduction to subject areas they may not have studied before.
London's facilities for study and leisure cannot be matched by any other city in Britain. The British Library and the British Museum are close to UCL. The great museums and art galleries (the Science Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum, the National Gallery and the new and spectacular Tate Modern) are within 20 minutes by Underground.
UCL students have the best of both worlds; all the fun and fulfillment of a bustling, busy city existence, with the availability of the tranquil and beautiful parks close at hand. Despite the size of its student body, UCL occupies a relatively compact area within the university quarter of London in a peaceful setting of academic and professional institutions.
UCL guarantees housing for Summer School students at the St Pancras Way residence.
St Pancras Way offers dedicated flats to Summer School students comprising single-occupancy bedrooms with en-suite facilities and shared kitchens. All bed linen is provided and changed once a week. Kitchens are equipped with a fridge-freezer, oven, microwave, kettle and other kitchen essentials. All flats are cleaned once a week.
St Pancras Way also offers a range of social spaces, coin-operated laundry facilities, Wi-Fi, 24-hour security desk and CCTV, with secure door entry systems.
The residence is a 20-minute walk from UCL.
