Required course- CLASSICS 310: Rome in Film with Dr. Cynthia White
- If you have taken CLAS 310 in previous semesters, you are eligible to apply!
- You can also enroll in CLAS 310 on-campus or online during the Spring 2022 semester
- If you have not taken CLAS 310, you will complete the course and assignments after your time in Italy.
Additionally, you will be enrolled in a 1 unit CLASS 499 course using the cities of Italy as your text!
Site visits include Venice, Florence, Sorrento, Pompeii, and Rome. Arriving in Rome, we spend three days that include visits to the Forum, Colosseum, Vatican Museums, and several other sites. Next, we will head to the charming coastal town of Sorrento and also visit the ruins at Pompeii. Afterwards, we head to Florence, the jewel of the Renaissance, to see Michelangelo’s David and also the splendid Uffizi Gallery. We finish in Venice, where we will visit the Doges Palace and St. Mark’s Basilica.
