Established in 1998, the Foundation for International Education (FIE) is a private, independent, not-for-profit educational exchange organization offering semester and summer internship options. Located in London, a thriving multicultural city boasting cutting-edge music, art, and fashion. FIE facilities are located in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
Tentative Program Dates: June 8 - August 6, 2017
This program is organized by Eller College of Management but is open to all UA students. It is an eight week program, where students will take one course and complete an Internship during this time.
Eller students will receive direct credit for ENGL 260 and their internship.
Students who are not in Eller will also get direct credit for ENGL 260 but will have to work out credit with their home department for the internship. If you do not get approval from your home department for the internship, then you will receive BNAD credit for the internship and this cannot be changed after you return, so please plan ahead.

Located in London, a thriving multicultural city boasting cutting-edge music, art, and fashion, FIE’s program gives you the opportunity to experience this complex, multicultural society through interdisciplinary coursework and tailored, academic internships. FIE facilities are located in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, a central yet quiet area of downtown London.
FIE provides a variety of student accommodation ranging from furnished student flats (apartments) to dormitory-style housing in its facilities at Metrogate, Hyde Park Gate. All student accommodations are within a 15 minute walk from Foundation House, which is the study center for the program.
The program includes the following: student housing, a 2-day orientation, internship placement and supervision, a theater trip, use of Kensington library, a guided London tour, zone one and two tube pass, medical coverage. a British Life and Cultures course, an International Internship course, various course related co-curricular activities, 24-hour internet access, and 24-hour emergency support.
