This faculty-led program is designed to provide student engagement learning by immersing students into the culture of India. The field experience will provide students with exposure to business, product development, education systems, family structures, architecture, and culture.
For the 2017 Winter Session, students will depart for India on December 26th and arrive back on January 9th.
This faculty-led program is led by Dr. Jana Hawley, who is the Director for the UA's John and Doris Norton School of Family and Consumer Sciences. You can find more information about Dr. Hawley at this LINK.
Students will work with local artisan students at the Somaiya Vidya Artisan Design School to develop global marketing plans who will provide workshops for students in their craft.
