Arizona in Viña del Mar offers students the opportunity to advance their Spanish major or minor during a semester studying 15 units in Viña del Mar, Chile. The academic program is designed to accommodate the needs, interests and qualifications of the individual students while taking advantage of the local environment.
Students enroll for 15 (17 if students are taking 201 and 202) units of direct UA credit in the following courses:

SPAN 201: Third Semester Spanish (4 credits)
SPAN 202: Fourth Semester Spanish (4 credits)
SPAN 210: Latin America on Film - Tier 2 Humanities taught in English (3 credits)
SPAN 251: Intermediate Spanish (3 credits)
SPAN 325: Intermediate Grammar and Writing (3 credits)
SPAN 330: Intermediate Conversation (3 credits)
SPAN 340: Spanish Phonetics (3 credits)
SPAN 350: Readings in the Literary Genres (3 credits)
SPAN 425: Advanced Grammar and Composition (3 units)
SPAN 431: Issues in Spanish-American Culture (3 units)
SPAN 449A: Topics in Spanish Literature and Cultural Studies (3 units)
SPAN 449B: Topics in Latin American Literature and Cultural Studies (3 units)
