Karnataka is a state in southern India known to be host to some of India’s largest and most powerful dynasties. A stunning introduction to southern India, Karnataka is a prosperous, compelling state loaded with a winning blend of urban cool, glittering palaces, national parks, ancient ruins, beaches, yoga centres and legendary hang-outs. It is a fine blend of old historical cities in ruins and modern cities with speed and hustle-bustle, hosting several cultural communities including the largest Tibetan settlement in southern India. Several places in the state are known for their delicious south-Indian cuisine.
