Located in Lyon, France, the Université Jean Moulin – Lyon 3 is home to over 20,000 students. Founded in 1974, Lyon 3 is comprised of a Law School (Faculté de Droit), a Business and Management School (Institut d'administration des entreprises), a College of Foreign Languages (Faculté des Langues), a College of Humanities (Faculté des Lettres), and a College of Philosophy (Faculté de Philosophie). Students participating in the Lyon 3 exchange have the option of taking courses in French (DEUF Program: "Diplôme d'Etudes Universitaires Françaises") or in English (either the SELF Program: "Study English in Lyon France", the European Business Realities Program, the General Management Program, or the LLM program in international and European Law.
Please note that if you choose to participate in the SELF program, it is mandatory to take the following two courses:
- The Introduction to French Culture and Civilization
- The French as a Foreign language
All programs are housed on the campus of Lyon 3 and offer specially tailored coursework and instruction to international students. Students with advanced proficiency in French may also opt to enroll in regular university courses alongside French students.
