As Global Curriculum Coordinator, Kate works to ensure courses are available and scheduled at microcampuses and that other partners’ courses will transfer to the University of Arizona.
A two-time University of Arizona alumnus, she earned her MA in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) and MA in Library and Information Science from Arizona. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Second Language Acquisition and Teaching (SLAT). Prior to moving to Tucson, she taught English in China and the Republic of Georgia and continues to substitute with Pima Community College’s Adult ESL courses. Kate most recently lived in New Zealand, and loves traveling, teaching, and learning languages.
