Who Should Attend this Conference?
Food and water security are issues that affect us all, and those living in arid lands are particularly vulnerable. This FREE two-day conference welcomes community members and guests from around the nation and the globe, as well as area college and high school students, faculty, and all others interested in hearing dialogues across Traditional Knowledge, academic science, and citizen science.
What can we learn from different funds of knowledge? What strategies have been implemented locally and globally that may enhance our own efforts in service to sustainability and security? Come for an exchange of ideas and plans intended to generate action, in our communities and in our lives.
While our online registration option is now closed, you are warmly welcomed to come register in-person the first day of the Conference in the North Ballroom of the Student Union Memorial Center at the University of Arizona. Please know that you will likely need to secure lunch on your own in this case.
