Dive Into Diversity: Applying Intercultural Competence to Teaching and Learning

In this workshop, we will look at some basics of Intercultural Competence (IC) with a particular focus on navigating diverse communication styles and facilitating activities that enhance self-observation and perspective-taking. We will further explore some ideas for incorporating IC into teaching, advising, and mentoring. Please see the “More Information Link” for preparatory resources and prompts. Note: This workshop is part of the Inclusive Excellence in Teaching PLC meeting series, but everyone is welcome to join this session; there is no requirement to join the PLC.
